"Learn how to be happy with what you have while you pursue all that you want."
-- JIM ROHN

I have always believed that if you are not happy with what you have in life, you will never be happy with what you get! Happiness I believe comes from within, it is the relationship you have between you and God. If you have a good relationship with your Lord and Savior First, It will not matter whether you live in a shack in the middle of the desert or, mansion you will have inner happiness. Once you have that then whatever you get next is only the cherry on top! Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love the LORD.”

“Life is not measured by the number of breathes we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.."
- ANONYMOUS

It does not matter how long we live, the quality of our life and having a righteous heart before God, is what is important. We should cherish every wonderful moment we have. We should make every moment that touches our heart count by not wasting it on petty, trifle things. We can gather riches, fame and status but it will not mean one thing compared to the day we become saved, the day we graduate, the day we become engaged, our wedding day, the birth of our children, our children’s first words and first steps, the day they graduate, The day they marry, the birth of our grand children, our Silver and Gold Anniversary etc... Psalms 32:11 “Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.”

"Go out into the world today and love the people you meet. Let your presence light new light in the hearts of people."
-- MOTHER TERESA

If each one of us took the time to stop and talk to one person today about the Love of God, The Gift of Jesus Christ, and the path to Salvation and shared our Love with just that one person, the whole world would light up from the inside out! The bright light of God’s love can not be dimmed. It only takes a smile, and few minutes out of your life to make what could be a life changing moment in the life of someone else! Mar 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”—John 13:34-35

"You see, in life, lots of people know what to do, but few people actually do what they know. Knowing is not enough! You must take action." --ANTHONY ROBBINS

I believe we are all guilty at times of not doing what we know we should do. We are all fantastic at giving advice. We know what others should do, and we do not mind telling them. But when it comes time to follow our own advice, you know that little sound in your ear telling you what you should, or should not do! Yes, that one! We pretend we don’t hear it, or we lie to ourselves and say, “It doesn’t know what it is talking about.” Let me tell you something about that little voice that I learned, and yes the hard way, I am not going to lie about it, I sincerely believe it is the Holy Spirit guiding me. When I listen everything turns out fine, when I do not listen, everything goes haywire! We know right from wrong. We were taught right from wrong. Listen to that little voice, it will not steer you wrong! If you are still not sure about something, there is a good place to go to find the answer, The BIBLE will have it, and you can also ask for an answer in prayer! Romans 721 I have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong.22 I love God's law with all my heart.23 But there is another power* within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.24 Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? 25 Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God's law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin”.

"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going... "
-- BEVERLY SILLS

I can tell you from experience that shortcuts can cause much more trouble than they are worth. My husband is what I consider a typical, “I don’t need to stop for directions,” man. He loves to try and take short cuts and we are always getting lost! I have learned to sit back, listen to the radio and relax! It never did do me any good to get mad, we were still lost and he still was not about to stop and ask for directions. So now, I just chill while he complains to himself! Duct tape is another great shortcut; it will “fix” anything, temporarily. Bailing Wire is another of Mr. Fix its favorite temporary fix all materials! My point is simple of course; it takes longer to get somewhere if you get lost! If the place you are trying to get to is important enough, just take your time and you will get there! Do all you do right the first time so you do not have to go back and do it again! It might take longer to do it, but if you have to do it twice then it will surely take longer! It is the same way when you talk about Heaven; there are no short cuts to getting there! You have to believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and became the blood sacrifice that covers your sins. And that he arose again three days later to intercede between you and the Father. You must repent for those sins which means that your heart must be changed and with it your life. You will not choose to live a life of sin any longer. You will know that God the Father loves you and created everything including the Universe we live in. You will feel the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you and you will acknowledge Him. Believe and God will welcome you into His Kingdom. ROM 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
